Bailey is an associate professor of political science at Flagler College, Florida, while she specializes in security studies, international relations, regime survival, and political stability. Her work has been published in International Studies Review, and she has presented at multiple national and regional academic conferences. Bailey brings a deep commitment to civic engagement and youth empowerment to her role as Board Secretary at Pathway America. With years of experience teaching politics and governance, she works to foster critical thinking and open dialogue among young leaders—values that are central to Pathway America's mission to empower, unite, and educate the next generation.

Rachel is an Associate Professor of Political Science at Flagler College, where she also serves as the Dean of Humanities and Liberal Arts. Her academic expertise lies in comparative politics, government, and foreign policy, and she has authored multiple publications and presented extensive research in these areas. As a representative of higher education, Rachel is committed to fostering balance and moderation in political discourse, particularly among students. With years of experience in academia, she has witnessed the impact of partisanship on college campuses and actively works to promote constructive, inclusive dialogue.
Board Member
Joel Bolante brings decades of leadership and public service experience to Pathway America. Currently an Assistant Professor and Director of the Public Administration Program at Flagler College, Dr. Bolante holds a doctorate in Law and Policy and has taught courses in public policy, leadership, and law since 2003.
Before entering higher education, Dr. Bolante served over 34 years in law enforcement, including more than two decades in command roles. He retired as Undersheriff of the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office, where he led initiatives in patrol, investigations, internal affairs, and corrections. A graduate of the FBI National Academy and several other executive training institutes, Dr. Bolante is also a trusted instructor for sheriff and fire agencies across Florida. Joel leans right.
